Cannondale's Trail SL 29'er 3 takes it to the trail without taking you to the cleaners. The frame boasts large-diameter, thin-wall aluminum tubes that maximize stiffness and minimize weight so you can climb quickly and easily. A full range of gears from the folks over at Shimano let you get up, down and all around. And you'll roll over everything in your path thanks to the 29-inch wheels wrapped with grippy Kenda tires. Slowing down is simple, too, with Shimano disc brakes providing serious stopping power and pinpoint control.

Normally I do not write reviews, but I am taking time to write his one, because I am super pleased with this bike. I think I bought the best for the money I spent. It's fast, light and with the 29 wheels I can go over all kind of obstacles easily. I was concerned about control vs a 26" but this bike handles great! I have not fallen a single time turning on rough terrain with rocks and roots. I do not do jumps, but I go fast downhill over obstacles and I feel really confident and safe. The breaks act very accurately I would not change it!
