61 year old getting back into riding again after 30 years. How bikes have improved. The shift levers right at your finger tips are great! Very safe and ease of use. This bike is a great deal for the money. Saddle could be a little more comfortable for an old guy. Get one you won't be sorry! If in Oregon go to Lakeside Bikes in L.O. great folks, no pressure sales.

Recently bought the Q5.....and its a beauty! If its your first hybrid, you'll love it hands down. Try other bikes and the Q5, you'll know. I use it for fitness mainly, and I'm trying to use it for commuting as and when I get the chance and time. Its tough considering commuting in India with the roads and traffic! But I'm telling you, this bike is a charm. Well worth the money. Excellent ride quality. I do not think you'll get a better bike for the money. Ill tell you one thing....the Q5 motivates me to ride. Period.

I bought my Quick 5 as a gift to myself. I use my Quick 5 for fitness riding and for recreation. For the money, there isn't too much competition for this bike. I test rode about 10 different bikes including a Trek 7.2. The Trek was $80 more and wasn't nearly as nice as my Quick. I like the light weight, the speed, the components-everything screams high quality. Plus it looks good. The not so nice-the seat could be softer. That's really it.

I started cycling with my wife a couple of months ago. We were riding mountain bikes on a 15 mile trip to town before we decided to get a Cannondale. We plan on using them for most of our shopping needs. I can't think of a better way to clean the planet and get a great cardio workout. It's a really fast bike and ready to mount racks to if you want to leave the car at home to do the shopping. These bikes are made for years of use. I am very pleased with the quality and the look. This is a great bike and I would recommend it to anyone who wants to start cycling. Don't waste your money on a cheap bike. A big thanks to the guys in Foley!!!

I bought this bike a few months ago & it has handled everything I have thrown at it. I ride anywhere from 15-70 miles a day (at times) and it is lightweight enough and stiff also. I've wrecked on it, but that happens to the best of us & it held it's own very nicely. It also can be ridden on 'light' mountain trails...if you don't mind scratching up the paintwork a little.

I've had my Q5 for 6 months and have put about 2400 miles on it. I ride the local fine gravel rails to trails and a paved trail as well as on city streets. I've had absolutely zero problems with it. It's solid enough to handle rough roads but its light enough to easily carry down to the driveway. As others have said there's no suspension but these types of hybrids seldom have that and in my opinion they're not necessary anyway. I carry my camera bag on a rack and pull a nomad trailer for my tripod etc.

This is a great bike...period. It is light and is quick, as it is so named. I ride this bike 20 miles a day and it rides like a dream. It has very good components for the price and this bike is all you need if all you do is ride around town. So glad I made this purchase.

For what this bike cost you can't do better. The bike is quick and smooth and responsive; work beautifully in town or on bike trails (paved). Compared to my Cannondale Mt. Bike I have much more power riding this model ... Light weight & nice looking. Take one for a ride & you'll take it home. P.S. Of course you feel the bumps - it's a road bike - no suspension.

                Comments:

Make sure the shop puts on all your accessories before you buy the bike to make sure they fit on it. I like the lightness of the Quick 5 and the shifters are easy to use. However, the biggest con with this bike is the frame - it is really weird and practically impossible to install a rear bike rack. I made the store install it before I would buy the bike, and they needed to add some contraption and do some welding work to make it work. Also the pedals are really really cheap plastic/rubber but they seem to hold up. It has a harder ride than my previous commuter bike since it has NO shock absorbers in the seat or frame - this is not good for my carple tunnel numb wrist problem (get some good padded gloves). The seat is kind of hard unless you put a seat cushion on it.
