Enjoy the local group ride or your favorite road loops even more, or pedal to work on a machine you can't wait to show-off with Cannondale's impressive CAAD10 5 105. Its expertly crafted Cannondale CAAD10 aluminum frame is impressively light, stiff in all the right places and amazingly efficient for excellent handling and performance. You'll also love the tapered front end and carbon tapered fork that cancels road vibrations for a super-smooth ride and pinpoint steering. You also get zippy Shimano wheels and their 20-speed 105 drivetrain with an FSA compact crankset for quick shifting with easy climbing. And, this stellar roadster features sweet parts like grippy Schwalbe tires, a supportive Prologo seat, and Tektro brakes just in case you ever want to slow down.

Cannondale's SPEED SAVE stays (left) and fork (right) create a micro suspension system that improves comfort, control, traction and handling. It allows the bike to roll faster, accelerate better and corner harder without affecting pedaling efficiency.

BB30BB30 is an oversize bottom bracket standard that boosts stiffness and decreases weight. BB30 bottom bracket bearings are pressed directly into compatible frames, meaning there are no heavy external cups to thread in. And, BB30 cranksets feature 30mm-diameter spindles (standard spindles are smaller) for greater pedaling efficiency and increased power transfer.

This frame’s head tube is 1 1/4 inches in diameter at the bottom and 1 1/8 inches at the top. This maximizes front-end stiffness for awesome steering precision and control, while allowing the use of standard 1 1/8-inch stems and not adding much weight.

Comments:

Did a lot of research and went for this bike. Realized the advanced aluminum was far better than low end carbon. Component set is very good. This bike is fast and eats hills for lunch. 56cm is 19 pounds

Comments:

This bike rocks! I was looking for a low end carbon bike, tried a few, none of them was better than my old alum. bike. Until I took this one for a spin, my eyes were open, I felt unleashed. Accelerates like a rocket, it begs you to pedal, I really love when the lights turn yellow and I have to get out of the saddle for another sprint! I bought the 105 in order to use the cash difference to buy a lighter wheelset, but I'm gonna ride the stock for a while. Also I thought I was too macho for a compact crank set, but in reality I'm having better average speeds with this compact thing (I live in a hilly area). Did I mentioned that I saved like a thousand bucks over a carbon frame? I feel like a kid
