Comments:
I ride this bike in my neighborhood and on bike trails. The seat is very comfortable. The shocks in the front forks and the seat make the ride very smooth and even out the bumps. I have lower back pain and the higher handle bars help keep your back in a comfortable position.

This bike rules, I needed to update my cannondale mountain bike I rode for the last 15 years. I wanted something more comfortable and easier on my wrist and back. I mostly ride in the city, sometimes paved trail or gravel trails and this bike just want to go and go's fast! I've done a minor thing or two off trail and its fine but thats the kind of riding im into. I love this bike, so smooth and comfortable.

Bought bike for fitness and to ride on paved bike paths. Very happy with bike and its comfort. Needed a bike that would make me want to ride and the Adventure accomplished this. Have been riding 12-15 miles each Sat and Sunday.

I fell in love with this bike as soon as I put my feet on the pedals. The cockpit is "open" and allows my chest and shoulders to open up. It's anything but cramped and feels completely natural. I felt like a kid again riding this bike! It's so easy to dial in a proper fit on this bike due to it's adjustable stem. I compared it to a Trek 7500 ([$] more), but in all fairness the Trek frame was too small. I have a Trek Mnt. bike which I love, but I bought my Adventure 3 to replace my Trek 1200 road bike which I had to sell. I needed a very comfortable bike which would be easy on my spine and shoulders (arthritis), yet be fast and a blast to ride without causing joint fatigue. The Sram twist shifters work flawlessly. I actually prefer them to the rapid fire + shifters I have on my mountain bike; they work better. Fun! The frame (& stem) is bomb-proof (you'll just have to trust me on this one...the story is just too embarrassing). I intend to use this bike for every ride except true off road trails, using it for grocery shopping for example. I outfitted it with bar-ends, a rear rack, front mud fender and wireless computer (of course), toe clips & straps. It looks great in the black/grey all decked out like I have it.
